REVIEW:

This product can get quite expensive if you’re purchasing more than one. I recommend that you check your flyers and purchase it when it goes on sale. However, it is way cheaper than other brands with similar products (Ex: Clinique – $19.00 and Tarte – $31.00). I am not sure how Revlon’s product compares to Clinique’s or Tarte’s product since I don’t own either one of them.

I found that the stain is very easy to use. You just twist the bottom to reveal more of the product. The stain has a peppermint scent, but you can’t smell it when it’s on your lips. There’s also shimmer in it, but you can’t see it when it’s on your lips. It has a subtle glossy finish, but it’s not as shiny as a lipgloss. It goes on the lips smoothly. However, I found that it settled into the lines of my lips and the lines are emphasized more when you’re left with the stain. If you don’t exfoliate your lips, it will show the flakiness. The product did a great job staining my lips and it lasted for a long time, even after eating. It could be good or bad depending on whether you like to switch up your lip colour throughout the day. I found that Sweetheart, Adore and Lovesick stained my lips more and lasted longer than Honey and Rendezvous.

If you were considering purchasing one, I’d recommend Honey because it’s a very neutral colour that will suit almost anyone. Sweetheart and Lovesick are very similar colours, so I recommend that you only purchase one of them. I personally like Sweetheart more because it’s a tad brighter than Lovesick

  1. Thanks for posting these! Honey and Adore look like they will be next on my drugstore purchase list.
